For restriction removal. Right, I was planning on writing something like that, but wanted to make sure since it makes it sound like you need a very "specific reason". Whatever that means, lol.
CH, I was thinking of submitting mine soon as well. If you don't mind sharing, what sort of stuff did you write under the "reason" (for wanting it) section? Doesn't it say "be specific" or something?
Yes! I've always thought about that with regards to bullpups, but never experienced it myself. Seems like it would be pretty bad in .308, but I would guess 5.56 shouldn't be too bad.
I like Kel-Tec's ideas, but I've seen some really bad failures online of their equipment. Still not sure what to...
I read it and think it's pretty damning, but I believe the only person who could be convicted by the info in the memo is Christopher Steele. Everyone else can just hide behind 'incompetence' and say they didn't know about the circular 'corroboration' of the dossier.
I did a little research on them a while ago. Everyone pretty much likes them for the price, only main criticism I saw was that occasionally they required fitting with sandpaper by the customer to sit correctly.
My SKS had one while my friend was using it few years ago. My friend said it didn't feel any different, but luckily it didn't chamber the next round. I thought that was strange so I pulled the bolt and carrier and checked the barrel. When I didn't see any daylight I knew I was in trouble lol. We...
This is backordered, but it's the best deal I've seen on a cheap heavy barreled rifle.
- Heavy Varmint Barrel
- Internal Box Mag
- Available in .223, .22-250, .204, 6.5CM, .308
$320+tax=~$350, minus $100 mail rebate=~$250 all said and done
(and you could use some Cabelas bucks if you have them)...
I got my 92A1 for $590 shipped, I thought that was a real good price. I've seen regular 92FS's go as low as $450! That seems really good to me considering it's an "all-metal" gun!
I'd probably go the AR15 route as well. So many choices for mods and sights/optics, and generally they're very accurate. Ammo is easy to find and doesn't break the bank either. Not sure what the best compliant ones are, I'll leave that to others.
Hi, glad you joined!
What are going to be your main uses for it?
Some good compliant rifles include: ARs, M1A, Mini-14 or Mini-30, featureless AK-47, Saiga in 5.56 or 7.62, SKS, M1 Garand, and more.
