If your going to a range I’d recommend carrying it unloaded, ammo separate.
If I’m bringing a pistol to the range even if I’m concealed carrying I stop outside the gate, unload it and put it in my range bag.

Curious if the petroleum industry and gas stations have a contingency plan for how to access fuel if there is mass grid down.
I have a generator and a couple big containers of gas but it would only buy a little time if the more fuel supply was inaccessible.
