I hate stick powder like IMR 3031.
My real point for being here, have you asked around on Cast Boolits .com? Been awhile since I've been there but lot of old timers with TONS of first hand knowledge, if you don't see it, register and ask.
Have you tried seating an empty piece of brass( no bullet)? I assume you've cleaned and oiled the gun.
Years ago I picked up a nice looking large ring Mauser that the PO didn't know what caliber, turned out it had been put together as a drill rifle and had never had a chamber cut!
I can understand that, besides after that 5 years he will be experienced enough to go out on his own.
I had a prospective employer that wanted all his new hires to sign one, I refused, I had the skills and training long before I met him and had those same skills after I left.
You apparently didn't read any of the comments. I read some and can't believe people are so stupid/gullible and many are blaming Trump. Isn't that ad slander? Couldn't Trump sue?
Stupid libtards, instead of 10 round magazine limits we need IQ tests to vote and to hold office!
"Carroll and a member of her security team surrendered the gun a day after Rader visited, and the firearm was being held until Carroll receives a New York pistol license, the report said." So the cops not only knew she had agun but they were at her home and ALLOWED her to keep it another day!
I kick myself in the ass, a few years ago I was offered a free Tx. from an on-line friend. It would have been totally unguided but he owned the property and offered the use of a camper to sleep in. The place was off grid, no elect. or water but it was FREE. At the time I just couldn't justify...
I thought about this and notice that they say "at police stations"? I take that to mean that all the desk cops that normally would be sitting at a desk and now will be cruising the streets in a car. Or I could be wrong and they just don't have the manpower, if that's the case the people are screwed!
I did the armed guard thing for a couple years, at that time very few of the 'guys' were LEO's, most just average Joe's like me looking for a few extra bucks. As far as the 10 rounds go, I believe they are limited to that.
AH, Hell. I'm more undecided now than before! This is a 'canned' hunt in Pa. (Stony Farm) No night hunting and damn it, no helicopters and for sure no chain guns! But I do really like that idea!
NO NEW GUNS!!! I'd like to but I have an uncertain amount of years left and trying to make things...
I have a upcoming hog hunt, I've never done anything like this before and planned on taking my Ruger .44 mag carbine, but then found that shots can range out to well over 100yds. The Ruger has always been my 'go to gun' for deer hunting but those shots are mostly 50yds. So form my list of guns...
I think that many of these politicians believe that they can do no wrong and the people LOVE them. Years back a friend was at a local festival and Chuck the schmuck was there an aid asked my friend if he would like a pic with chuck and just couldn't understand when my friend said "why the fuck...
This isn't really a "mod", more like a repair. My son picked up a used Lee Pro 1000 cheap, after cleaning and looking it over I found why so cheap. The two bolts that hold the ram toggle to the red frame were all boogered up, the threads in the red aluminum base were stripped out rendering the...
Dan Wesson stainless .357 Mag. Model 715 with 8" scoped barrel, made in Monson, Ma. As seen in the pics come's with one extra 6"barrel, wrench, feeler gauge and keys for the case. This may or may not be a D.W. Hunter Pac, or could be someone's attempt to put one together.
Gun and BBL are in like...
First is a Thompson Contender Super 16" chambered in .35 Rem.
This isn't your dads old .35Rem. Because this is a single shot pistol it can use pointed bullets and some are included
I bought this many years ago and have taken many deer, it is zero's at 200yards using Hornady 180gr SSP bullets...
Just as well, it's a real bitch getting it separated, scrape and then power wash the wall board off first, then melt and flux.
Check junk yards for lead, I've got nice NOS plumbers ingots from longg ago at a scrap yard $0.50 lb. Now a days anything less then $2.00 a lb seems to be a deal :(...
Yeah, but the work real good for pistol bullets.
For shotgun slugs (or balls)you would want pretty much as soft as you can get. IIRC shotgun barrels are fairly soft and you don't want to wear it out prematurely.
Also need to correct myself, I have no idea what the hell BRN is, I meant to spell...
