m4 feedramps

OK, need some advice from people who have more experience than me on builds. I have a barrel that is NOT cut for M4 feedramps. The feedramps are cut right up to the edge but not into it. In looking around at uppers, I am finding most of them are cut with M4 ramps. My question is whether...
