Trying to declutter some stuff that is duplicative in my life. This is a Radio Shack HTX-10 in excellent condition. comes with power cord with ring connections on it, mic, mobile bracket (BUT NOT THE SCREWS), replacement mic holder. I purchased this used when I first got my Technician license as this radio covers the portion of the band that includes the tech. I subsequently picked up a multi-band radio as I got a more advanced license. Turned it on this AM for the first time and heard a few folks working CW, tried to make a call but no response back. Not too surprising considering the current sunspot activity, or lack thereof. If this is the first HF radio you are looking at, please do your research first so you are not disappointed in the purchase. This band will not be back to its glory until the sunspot activity picks up and then it will be a worldwide band again. In addition, there will be other items you need to get rolling, such as antenna, power source, etc.
