It's being reported that Cuomo's numbers have gone up 10 points and has cut Mamdani's lead almost in half.

Cuomo said that he's actually a Democrat but running as an Independent. He also said that Mamdani is a Communist but running as a Democrat. What a shit show.

On a side note, I thought for sure there would already be an existing thread about the NYC mayoral election. But after looking, I didn't see one, and here we are.

Sliwa doesn't have a chance, and a choice between Cuomo and Mamdani isn't much of a choice. NYC is going to get it good and hard.

Republican nominee Curtis Sliwa says what matters more than endorsements is that both of his opponents are soft on crime.

Seems like ZM will win regardless, and the R’s want him to win and destroy NYC, which is why Red Beret boy will not drop out no matter what. Cuomo is about the worst possible candidate (or so I thought until ZM came along).

As long as NYS and NYC don’t try to take money from me via Fed bailouts, I don’t give a shit about them.

It’s going to be fun watching it implode from down here in South Carolina (aka Free America). The FSA is on a tear. Until they run out of other people’s money of course.
