ORDER, dated 08/30/2024, Upon due consideration, it is hereby ORDERED that the 08/07/2024 orders recalling the mandates in Hardaway v. James (No. 22-2933) Christian v. James (No. 22-2987) and Spencer v. James (No. 22-3237), and directing the parties to submit supplemental briefing is VACATED, and the mandate in each of those three cases is REINSTATED. As only the Plaintiffs-Appellees in Antonyuk v. James (No. 22-2908) petitioned for and were granted a writ of certiorari, the Supreme Court's 08/05/2024 judgment must be reasonably construed as limited to the parties in that case, and did not require the recall of the mandates in Hardaway, Christian, and Spencer. Accordingly, the 08/07/2024 orders in Antonyuk remain in effect, by DJ, GEL, ECL, FILED.[3633053] [22-2908, 22-2972]

Not sure what this all means as it says it did not recall the mandates in christian, hardaway or spencer, but did change something in antonyuk.

No expert but the way I read it is they are only considering Antonyuk case to apply to those parties meaning only Antonyuk.

However it seems the other cases are reinstated meaning lower court decisions are now in effect. Does this mean they are done? That I don’t know but since the Supreme Court directed them to do this I’d say that’s likely
So then they recalled or removed their rulings in the other cases for hardaway, Christian, and Spencer

Definition: Recall of mandate is an extraordinary action taken by an appellate court to withdraw the order it issued to the trial court after deciding an appeal. This action is usually taken after the deadline has passed for the losing party to seek a rehearing. It is used to correct clerical errors, remedy fraud on the court during the appeal, or when the original mandate would result in a grave injustice. A mandate is an order from an appellate court directing a lower courtto take a specified action.
It then appears to me the reinstated order means the lower courts order is now the law of the land so whatever the court decides for Christian, hardaway, and Spencer are now in effect since they vacated the second circuit decision. So now we have to look at those decisions and use them for what we are allowed to do.
The way I read it we have houses of worship and private property carrying granted back to us.
