4 years ago today a friend of mine was killed the same way. You cannot trust those bastards, I never turn my back to them.
This is what Russian Afghan vets say as well.
After after almost 20 years of near constant deployments in our family, my cousin currently in Afghanistan should be the last for awhile. I'm just praying he gets back safe.

This is my brothers unit that was attacked. He got a message out to my sister yesterday that he was fine, but he knew the men well. They're stationed at FOB Fenty outside Jalalabad.

No doubt. My brothers deployment ends in September, it cannot get here fast enough.
When he transfers to Ft. Drum next spring his new unit is slated to go back in Oct 2018.
I have a brother at Drum now. His car is annoyingly in my driveway right now lol. He doesn't have any deployments on the radar right now thankfully.
Have him get a hold of me if he wants a good place to go shooting.
Lol and you still haven't come up to shoot yet.

Most definitely. It's not a super far drive from Rochester (a hell of a lot closer than Ft. Bliss for sure.) , I'd love to set up a range day.
My stepdad was stationed there. Then my brother was, but he's now in Ft. Hood
Haven't had good vacation weeks yet. You around hunting season? I may be spending two non-consecutive weeks in October at my uncle's place . If so I will probably shoot up there for a day or two during one of them.

I should be here. I don't go on my all expense paid vacation until after the new year. I have to go to Fort Polk a couple of times this year but, I will know about those trips a month or so in advance.
I'd rather go to Afghanistan than Ft. Polk!
