I found a sizer de-capper die, it says its a Lee 9mm undersize die set. Description says .003 undersize. I have never seen this before, is it a standard die? price is almost realistic!!!!

My delta elite fucks the brass beyond saving...hell of a deer round in the brushlee bulgebuster does the same thing for 10 mm. Sometimes gets the brass back to normal after running thru a Glock with unsupported barrel.
If you don't like it shoot me a messageOne of the hundreds of sites I scanned through in my search sent me to Amazon, of all places! It was prime and should be here in a few days. I'm a bit leery, but I shall see.

I have one in 9mm and 45 ACP. They size down just a bit further down on the base than a normal die. They're used by alot of competition shooters to give a little bit of extra reliability with the ammo and are very good for tight chambered guns. The little bit extra that it goes down on the base of the brass is the only difference and will serve you well.
There's really no reason to think the dies won't work. I don't know why everyone is getting so worked up lol. A small base aka undersized die is identical to a normal die except it goes a hair further down on the case when you do a sizing. You'll also be fine to use a rifle primers in a pistol case. There are a ton of videos investigating this very thing. As far as I can tell the main difference between pistol and rifle primers is cup hardness. The rifle being harder for obvious reasons. If you're really worried about it you can load down 10% from the minimum charge and see if it makes a difference. Then work up from there. For me, It was the only thing I could find to complete a set of 9mm dies I have. I just hope it works. Now, small pistol primers, hell any primers.
Anyone ever use small rifle primers in pistol loadings?
