may be springfield should make it to the short list. anyone know if the springers are cast or machined?

I'm pretty sure all "Steel" Springers are forged frames and sides !

You can find those both used at decent prices online. Only downside on the beretta is the mag release on the bottom of the grip requiring 2 handed reload. If it’s a range gun no problem.
