The projection of these Laws is the appearance of "doing something" to combat violence committed with guns, selling it to the uneducated general Public that thinks anyone can stroll into a Gun Shop, Gun Show, or even Walmart and walk out with a Handgun or Assault Weapon (sic), which anyone in the know, knows to be fallacious. The Representatives sponsoring and/or claiming penmanship of this Legislation really do not have any real insight of "what's in the Bill" only that if they want re-election resources to stay in Office they will get it to the Floor.
The people writing these Bills are those that either think they're doing the work of god, or are truly evil playing the long game of disarming the innocent, while coddling the criminal with knowledge that crime will continue and the victims (unable to properly defend themselves) will beg those in Control for relief, which will come at the demand of more power and money. Those killed or wounded are collateral damage and not significant to population reduction; that will come once the Power and Control cheered on by the Sheeple have given over sufficient rope for the hangings.
With NYC Liberal/Progressive/Democrats from the B.L.A.C Caucus controlling all three levers of Power, this is but one of the MANY Bills that will be passed without any chance of opposition from the Republican Right, and if we weren't so apathetic pussies this might not be so...but it is...OH, it is.
