Albany Co. proposed mandatory storage law

The Albany County Legislature will discuss proposed Local Law J, mandatory firearms storage, at the next scheduled meeting on September 12 @ 6:30pm.

But Hey... A Federal Judge already gave guidance that even if the State Legislature enacts a law that is unconstitutional, and the governor signs it into law, it may stand until someone shows they have been affected by it! Again, regardless of its being unconstitutional!!!

So they'll pass whatever the fuck they want...

But Hey... A Federal Judge already gave guidance that even if the State Legislature enacts a law that is unconstitutional, and the governor signs it into law, it may stand until someone shows they have been affected by it! Again, regardless of its being unconstitutional!!!

So they'll pass whatever the fuck they want...

That ruling should be appealed not only for the 2nd Amendment infringements, but also for pushing the idea that infringing laws can only be challenged if you are actually hurt by it.
The act of infringing is the "hurt", regardless if you get arrested or not.
