I was part of that 25k. FURNC and FU Mitch McConnell for helping their best bud chuckie cheese.

After 2020 I swore to never again donate to a call / message / mailing / email / fund raiser or solicitation since the House or Senate leadership as well as "list" owners can touch, keep, divert, or disperse most of my donation. I was shocked to learn that with most donations made, only 10% gets to the candidate unless it is made directly through the candidate's actual website or campaign donation snail mail address.

Voted about an hour ago. Turn out was light while I was there but at my polling place it usually is during off-hours. My area is suburban leaning a bit more Republican. Woman there said there was a line formed when they opened and early morning turn out was good.

I am somewhat troubled after I cast my ballot.

In the past, after inserting my paper ballot into the machine, it would display a "ballot accepted" confirmation. I did not see that this time, it just returned to the "ready" screen. I mentioned it to the woman waiting to hand me my "I voted" sticker. She told me, "it was accepted, I heard it go ka-chunk." I replied that I did not see the confirmation screen. She then replied "well I heard it and I saw it said accepted." I don't know how she could have seen that when I did not - I was in front of the machine, she was more off to the side. I am hearing on WYSL of many reports of problems people are having with machines.

Anyone else experiencing strange issues should file a report on auditny.com

Also, record a video of your experience, it is your First Amendment Right to do so.

The PBA is a scam outfit that has ZERO to do with the boys in blue. They exist to exist PERIOD! They get paid by donations to them, so how can they be promised anything on a 2% raise on state salary?

Voting for a Democrat is stupid PERIOD - end of story! I do not even vote for the judges that clean sweep the party affiliations.

Speak for YOURSELF - your absolutes absolutely STINK! There are many GREAT Republicans - Dave DiPietro in NY is one of them, all of the Freedom Caucus is Washington is great!

More negative waves from the shoot your own generals crowd! I for one am tired of it. Get out there and make a difference! I just delivered lunch to two polling places and inspected the machines and procedures. All up to snuff!

Before I vote I note the Public Counter number on the screen and when my vote is scanned I make sure the counter went up one vote!


From the poll watchers guide:

The Public Counter appears on the scanner screen (records how many votes are cast on the machine that day) - should be at "0" at the start of the day. If there is any number other than “0”, you should record the number and alert HQ. Make sure that the inspectors record the number. This will increase by “1” with each voter.

The problem is always going to be NYC. The Post article says this
“Here are some numbers to keep an eye on as the night progresses:
  • The closer overall New York City turnout gets to 2 million votes, the better for the Democrats
  • Democrats will look to net an edge of at least 800,000 votes out of New York City to build a substantial edge against an expected surge for Republicans in the suburbs. That's what they got in 2006 and 2010.
  • Zeldin acknowledges he needs to get at least 30 percent of the vote in the five boroughs to compete — but probably needs more, per a Post analysis.”

And DiPietro can do what exactly? All he can do is open his mouth, but he’s powerless to do anything. What I was referring to is the comparison between when the Republicans controlled all three houses federally compared to what the democrats did recently when they controlled all three houses.
Also you can say all you want but I’m nearly certain Zeldin will not pardon those arrested under the CCIA law. We can disagree on this and you can say I’m sending negative vibes all you want but I’m just keeping it real and nothing in history has proven me wrong. Even Trump boned us with gun laws and spending. What gun laws did he push or try to pass when he was in charge?

I think 30% would do it since young voters didn’t turn out and the blacks and Hispanics are going for Zeldin and other Republicans in record numbers.

I said republicans in general are morons and I didn’t directly call Zeldin a moron. Me grow up, you get real. I noticed you didn’t actually respond to how the Republicans squandered their control of all three houses compared to what democrats got done when they had control of all three houses. I don’t think it will even be of concern because it doesn’t seem like Zeldin will win. Yes it’s still early, but he’s got a hill to climb at 30%.
I stand by republicans being morons and if you feel differently fine, but they are there own worst enemies in most cases.

Not looking good boys.... target was 35% of NYC it is at 30% right now with 84% or so in. Lee can still win, but it is uphill bigly 58 to 41 as of right now.

She has a very slight lead in Erie county. I would have expected her to do better there.

Some of those leads may tighten up a bit. As I understand it, they count early votes first, so as things progress in-person votes should be weighted heavier Republican. I hope.
