Anderson Mfg. Is Gone

I read about this the other day. Anderson Mfg. is no more. Ruger bought them and is not keeping the name or legacy.

Yeah I know, some people feel Anderson isn't that great, neither is Ruger who's top brass have sided with anti-gun legislation and the ATF.

Personally, owning a couple of Anderson lowers, feel the quality out punched the price.

People bitch and talk bad about Anderson, but they were the among, if not the first to market an "Economy" Receiver...used to be able to buy them (3) for $99.
I've assembled Many of them, ZERO Problems, and outside the Boutique and Billet receivers, they're all the same and even from one of two foundries....and don't give me that bullshit about strength: I've built them on .50BMG as well as the snappier calibers like 12.7x42 and .458 again with zero failures.
Latest batch of economy receivers came from DS Arms and their Fathers Day Blem Sale at $25. each or Duracoated Upper/Lower Combo's for $50.
