He's an asshole. Anyone who wishes pain on society as to have a foothold in political discourse sucks. I don't care for most politicians, especially the current Biden/Harris fiasco, however I don't wish for the societal collapse to crush the average person to have a political point to crow about.
He's getting some newfound respect in conservative circles because he's catching flak from the wacko left when he criticizes their excesses. But he still says the right is crazier than the left which is simply not true. But his open rooting for a recession to prevent a trump second term turned me off him for good. I hope his allies on the left finally cancel him for good. I won't shed a tear.

I watch him most weeks. I try not to stay in the echo chamber. I don't agree with a lot of what he says. He is entertaining and gives some lefty views in an easier way to take. Better than CNN or msnbc to me.

He is wrong about a lot of things, but he is not a zealot (except for his view on Trump) and he isn't completely insane, so he's tolerable.
Yes. He's another one suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome. It is astonishing the number of supposedly rational intellectuals that had their brain broken by Trump. I lost respect for quite a few people during his term as president. That's not to say Trump doesn't have his faults. But part of me still doesn't understand why so many people became irrational. Maher is one of many.
