Still not legal in NY. The level of noise reduction is 10%, had it been 7% it would be good to go. I saw it in Mother Earth News, and was codified in federal court.

Silencers already reduce sound, recoil and flash. This is just another hyped piece of equipment. Until there's a silencer that makes the report sound like what you hear in the movies (likely impossible) it'll just be the same thing over an over and over with slight variations.
Great now we have silent guns, guns that can't be seen by X-ray, haunted guns (ghost), guns that can shoot hundreds of clips, cop killer bullets, racist guns, !
This thing may or may not have a role to play. I like that it appears to be smaller than your average suppressor. But it may be a jack of all trades, master of none scenario?
Like always, the Army trying to reinvent the wheel in the year 2020.
The key to manage recoil and reliability is in the back of the gun managing the moving mass and return of
the group.
