Sillibrand has been watching too many movies.

I was watching Bruce Willis in Die Hard 3 or 4, or whatever, and he was in an elevator when he starts to discharge his firearm and I was like "how is it he ain't deft even with suppressor he would have still had severe hearing damage"

Her level of ignorance is astounding on this. Of course, it will never change, because you could never get her to the range to actually hear some real life comparisons.

I never cease to be amazed by the utterly false gun portrayals done by Hollywood. Most of the time I just end up shaking my head in amazement,- little old ladies and kids shooting guns with absolutely no recoil; shooting in very confined spaces,- repeatedly with absolutely no ill effects, and on and on we go!
