It's highly recommended. We all knew this was coming for months now. Just like everything else games were played going back and forth changing things on the fly and now we have the decision. Just like everything else recently, games will be played in the courts to defeat it. In the mean time the FrEe StAtEs are still becoming more and more 2A friendly by the day. Let's not forget NY's crushing taxes, rampant crime and mentally ill left wing majority. To name a few. So yes. Moving away is still a good call!
So yeah, this sucks big green donkey balls! I imagine it is going to be tied up in court on 3 January though. I think they know they are eventually going to lose everything due to Bruen, so they are making every 2A group expend money until it hurts by coming out with new crap every other day. I don't think it will ever stop until we make politicians and bureaucrats fiscally liable for the unconstitutional edicts, regulations, and laws, they have a hand in relentlessly torturing the citizens with.
They know the guys who are making 80% guns for fun, a challenge and other legal purposes is not too large, and they are going to continue making 80% guns no matter what hoops the government throws at them. There are hardcore gun making people who do 80% guns to keep the .gov out of their business, but those people tend to use cash for everything and are not on social media. this is only going to dry up the readily available frames for them. All the other parts are still obtainable and with the availability of 3D printers the new rule is only an inconvenience for them. The internet has already let that genie loose.
Realistically show me a good machinist and I will show you a gun manufacturer. It is not hard to read blueprints and color within the lines with a milling machine. As for me, I will continue making 80% guns because it is a challenge and a hobby, I mark everything, IAW the ATF guidelines, with my name, town and a unique serial number because: 1) it is neat to see your name on the side of a gun not too many people can say their name is on the gun they use as an EDC. 2) it is a precaution if something ever happens, and I no longer have control of one of them, I have a marking to give the authorities to assist in the recovery of the gun. 3) I had to have marking on them to be legal firearm in NY.
My Advice: Stuff happens, get upset at what you can control and make changes accordingly. If you have the means to help in the fight against the tyranny of the state, pitch in and help. We have all seen this movie before, get involved or get out of the business of caring.

To be honest, I think the next iteration would be disposable investment casting molds.
Can't possibly be considered a firearm, Can't even be converted onto a firearm. It's a brittle ceramic.
But it's sold with an aluminum ingot you can melt on a camping stove and pour in the top and then break off the mold and voila, a functional lower LOL.
Worst case you have to clean up some holes and threads with a drill and a tap, also included.
Then there's the even lower tech version.
A silicone mold you just mix and port some epoxy into.

Exactly. They don't/can't make law. Only Congress can. Now there is Supreme Court precedent that reaffirms that with the EPA case. So the more ATF does this, the more attention it brings to them and that fact.

I wonder if Arms of America knows something we don't. As far as I knew, only Delta Team Tactical and maybe 1 or 2 other companies could sell 80%. These have been out of stock since around Sept. last year.

Just move to a free state. As well all know once you run away to a free state no gun laws will then apply to you. In a free state you can have new production machine guns, unregistered and untaxed suppressors, short barrel rifles and shotguns, and import all the Russian and Chinese made guns you want without any problem.

But as someone who *did* run to a free state, I bought myself a decade, maybe 2.
It is *much* better here.
So, if you want to stay in NY and fight an unwinnable fight in misery, have at it.
But I'd rather be here in Arizona and deal with the federal fight only, with the ability to exercise far more of my rights, than wallow away in the gulag the whole time.

I'd love to buy the full kit with the CNC machine, unfortunately it's not in the budget at the moment. At first I was like "Hell yeah I'll buy a CNC for $500" but I see that's the deposit on a machine yet to be built with a total price of $2,500 plus all the other tools and kits.
