The ammo was probably dummies..............THE LARGE CAPACITY AMMUNITION FEEDING DEVICE, WAS A FELONY, under the safe act..it is the belt that is illegal ,not the ammo.
I had to unload several belts of surplus 308 ammo that I bought years before..............links got sold.
FRT's were expensive anyway,...I just hope LaRues and Wilsons are not illegal.

I think it’s law enforcement that were the only dummies. The guy ended up with community service and charges dropped. The federal charge of a large capacity feeding device was lost on him
