Nope.Doesn't Jumbo James ever take a day off from tyranny?
and the rights of states to enact measures to protect their residents from gun violence.
Attorney General James has been a leader in the fight to protect New Yorkers and communities across the nation from gun violence.
They cannot outlaw weapons (which are nonetheless inherently dangerous, being a firearm) that are in common use. SCOTUS ruled in Caetano that stun guns (with a mere few hundred thousand in existence per that case) ARE IN COMMON USE, and therefore CANNOT be banned!I would guess this very well may backfire since she’s standing on they aren’t suitable for self defense. If we can send people to war with them to defend themselves, the USA, others and other countries this can’t be true.
General James and the coalition argue that states have historically imposed restrictions on dangerous weapons, accessories, and ammunition that pose a threat to communities and are not suitable for self-defense. The coalition further asserts that assault weapons are not protected by the Second Amendment because they are not suitable for self-defense.
I always laugh at the tired old "...weapons of war designed to kill as many people as possible in a short amount time" argument.
Remind me which "patrol rifle" is mounted in nearly every cop car in America right now? And why?
looking at that list it looks like PA and Vermont have gone full retard too . Sad day .
You are correct and that’s why I’m thinking this might backfire on them. They cannot outlaw weapons (which are nonetheless inherently dangerous, being a firearm) that are in common use. SCOTUS ruled in Caetano that stun guns (with a mere few hundred thousand in existence per that case) ARE IN COMMON USE, and therefore CANNOT be banned!
The AR-15 and like have something like at least 15 million in American's hands! Shit the most common pickup in the USA is the F150, and there are many, many more legally owned AR15's than F150 in use in the USA. Once the Bianchi case from MD, and other cases get ruled on at SCOTUS, this nonsensical horseshit should finally go away.
Here is a Four Boxes Diner video (one of a number of them) that details this:
Or sandwiches. Won’t someone think of the sandwiches?Nope.
She doesn't take time off from rank stupidity, either.
SCOTUS ruled in Caetano that stun guns (with a mere few hundred thousand in existence per that case) ARE IN COMMON USE, and therefore CANNOT be banned!
Define "soon".I hope Supreme Court steps in and stops these violation of NY gun owners constitutional rights very soon.
