Best buy for shotgun ammo?

Where are you guys finding the best price on shotgun ammo? I seen some Estate ammo, never heard of them, for $21 per 100rd box. Seems a good price. What are you finding at Wally World? I haven't been buying any in so many years I have no idea what's what any more.
I need to get to Binghamton this week, hate to shop Dickheads.

I picked up a case of Estate at Cabela's when they were on sale. No issues with the ammo. Fine for trap and sporting clays.

the federal seems to be universally pretty good, but the winchester tends to put off a very distinct odor sometimes. like very heavy sulfur smell.

What's the intended use? I have an older friend that uses AA Winchesters and Remington STS 7.5 shot, 2.75 dram trap loads for pheasant, rabbit squirrel, short range home defense his all purpose prepper pepper.

Have you considered a MEC single station shotgun reloader?

I ended up taking my wife to work today and figured I'd stop at Walmart while I was close. Not a single box of 0000 Buck and the only 100rd count they had were Winchester 7's and Estate 8's. I won't be doing any sporting clays, just hunting Grouse, Pheasants, etc. Would have rather had 5 or 6's for Pheasants but grabbed a box of Winchester steel 7's. Hate to slum it and go to Dicks for the Buckshot. I'll search some more first.

I hadn't thought about reloading shot shells but that may be a good option if I go through a lot. Then again, I can probably get a boatload of hulls from some local clay shooters that don't reload.

Estate, Federal, Gun Club , are good to reload .. you can do the cheep walmart bulk stuff but they ware out after a few reloads .. AA hulls rock if you can find them ..
i even do RIO and Fioochi and get about 5 reloads from them ..

@FrankenCub if there is a club near by that does sheet shoots and leagues .. go to them and when there done check the trash cans if allowed .. here i get a lot of RIO and Federal and sometimes some gun club hulls .. i have a 3 foot square box of hulls in the shed i haven't even sorted yet ..

I just watched a video about which hulls are the best to use, same as you posted lol. When I shot a lot all I used to buy was AA, at the time I didn't know they were desirable hulls to reload. Threw most of them out.
Seen a Mec Sizemaster SM77 on FB for $32. Cheap enough, but loooong ass drive. Not sure I want to get into reloading just yet anyway. I need a spot to set up again, which if my stepdaughter would hurry up and clear her room out I'll have a reloading/gun room lol. She lives with her BF so we get to store most of her junk for now
I'm not a member of any of the local clubs so chances of scavenging there are out. I may join one this coming year just so I have somewhere better to shoot so it may work out.

@FrankenCub .. shouldn't need to be a member just to go and watch a skeet / trap shoot .. then just hang out and chat with guy n gals .. find a member .. hay is ok if i check the trash for some hulls to reload .. 50/50 chance on yes or no .,. some clubs are old school and hulls on the ground belong to the club .. i'll pick them up if i can keep 1/2 ? talk it up .. check out the clubs ..

Right now I hoping for a clearing in this damn frigid weather so I can go shoot some birds for the freezer. Especially now that I have plenty of ammo, for now.

I looked at the sources I knew of and didn't find any real deals, especially after paying shipping. Most of the prices were right in line with Wallyworld. A lot of stuff listed out of stock too.

If you buy a case of 250, with free shipping, it comes out pretty similar, with the added benefit of not needing to shop around.
