The "Why Does the IRS Need Guns Act" aims to disarm the US Internal Revenue Service, by prohibiting the commissioner of internal revenue from using funds to either buy, to receive or to store any firearms or ammunition and requiring the transfer of all IRS firearms and ammunition to the Administrator of General Services.

The guns would then be sold or auctioned to licensed dealers and the ammo would be auctioned to the public.

Proceeds of these sales would then go to "the general fund of the Treasury for the sole purpose of deficit reduction," the measure stipulates.

I saw an article that claimed that IRS agents have more negligent discharges than non-negligent ones.

Shit started after the 2012 NDAA restructure of Gov't agencies which put pretty much every single one under the control of DHS, which subsequently is controlled by the Executive! They armed the Dept of Agriculture then too, automatic weapons, terror response training! For the Corn Watchers! Ridiculous of course!

But here, if Trump announced adding 86,000 agents to an acronym agency and word got out that 1/3 would be armed... They'd call it the SS! And not the Secret Service! Amazing isn't it!

But yeah... Disband that group of merry pencil sharpeners and take those things away before they hurt themselves!

Barry grabbed 6 million rounds of 9mm for the irs. That was the beginning of the ammo shortage. In my mind, the irs has no reason to be at my door. In the unlikely odds they do, they'd be better served to lock their handguns in their Chrysler K car.
