An "officer-involved shooting" occurred at about 7:30 p.m. at the San Ysidro Port of Entry after the driver of a white pick-up truck attempting to enter the United States failed to stop for an inspection, a CBP spokesperson confirmed to Fox News. It was unclear if there were injuries.
Northbound vehicle and pedestrian lanes at the port of entry were shut down for approximately 30 minutes due to the incident. San Diego police officers were brought in to aide Customs and Border Protection agents.
