Also until two years ago, paid surrogacy was still a crime in New York, as it should be, to rent a womb and rip a baby from the mother that bore it in the labor room. We went immediately from it being illegal to forced to pay for others doing it, whether it's an infertile couple, two men or two women, or some other weird sexual arrangement.
