Exactly.
He should be doing SOMETHING about these States. Yet he is not.
so a State can say "fuck you" to the Federal Constitution and do what they want? So what's the point of having a Federal Constitution then?
I keep hearing this. And, for a long time, I believed it.
But after 2020, and looking back at other times the Republicans attempted (not very strongly, I admit) to take control and failed by the narrowest of margins, I'm starting to think there have been some shenanigans going on. Finding out NY uses Dominion machines was the icing on the cake.
I really don't think there is a true majority of stupidity or, if there is, voter apathy should have enabled more Repub wins. But they always manage to "pull the hat out of the rabbit" at the 23rd hour and maintain their majority.
Not without a lot of kicking and screaming, and they won't be "giving" it back.
But, ultimately, when the other three boxes have been opened and found insufficient to restore our Rights, there is only one left. And I find people very reluctant to even suggest opening that box.
I keep hearing people say "flee your homes, leave your families and friends". Our Founding Fathers would have a completely different approach.
If you have to flee your home because of tyranny there should be other actions taken first. But people have become so afraid of the government that it is a non-starter.
History has shown what happens when people get pushed to the edge. Unfortunately it always takes a lot of innocent deaths before that point is reached.
I never said that. Your point, however, is misguided. It is not the job of the Executive branch to correct the wrongdoings of any particular State. In fact, the Executive branch has NO POWER TO DO SO.
Several of the posters here appear to be mad at Trump over things for which he has no control.
