I don't think so. No such thing in Worstchester (yet). Even NYC has a separate permit scheme for long guns.

In OC You don't "add" rifles to the permit. You submit the ammendment with the new box checked for rifle and the county clerks add the endorsement onto your permit that says "semi auto rifle endorsement". Allows you to purchase them like before. No idea how it works for non pistol permit holders.

That’s how Madison County is doing it. A co-worker did it. Cost $20 for the upgrade.

do i just show up at the permitting clerks office with all the semi autos i own currently
and they will just hand me a semi auto purchases permit so i can have there permission to buy another next month ??

That semi-auto Licenses is bullshit: all the work required to obtain a SAR Licenses when all that's required to buy a Semi-Automatic Rifle is to simply show that you have one. There is no requirement to register or list the Rifles you currently own, there is no recording of Licenses numbers or other verification that the transferee has said Licenses.
Listing AWs on your Handgun Licenses is not the same as Registering them with the State Police under the requirements of the un-SAFE Act.

Stripped semi receivers are still legal to transfer, as they are not rifles and do not have to be listed on Pistol Permits as semi auto rifles.
Semi auto shotguns are not rifles, and also are not listed in the semi auto license law, as having to be registered on the PP, either.

Local gun shops near me in westchester told me if you dont have a pistol permit you might as well apply for both pistol an semi auto rifle bc its the same process. County clerk told me the next available appointment to come in with paperwork is September 2023

When I applied for a Westchester target pistol permit in 2013, I was given an application submission date 8 months from the day I called. The whole process took over a year.

I know but to take 8 months to a year just to get a semi auto rifle permit its insanity. My cousin in Ireland is an avid hunter. He explained to me there gun laws an it has more advantages then NYS at this point.
