Canning of Meat (Recipes)

I've got a couple recipes that I use for canning meats. Like making potted meats, chicken, beef, etc.

Anyone care to share some of their recipes?

*Remember: For those that don't know or never canned meat, you need to use an actual pressure canner...

You had me looking... but I my original thoughts were correct. Freddie died from AIDS, like what the vaxx gives to people.

My canned meat doesn't give people AIDS.

watched a few canning vids on the tube and the lady just uses basics .. pepper , salt ..

I raw can beef stew. The pressure canning process does all the cooking so that when you open it later all you need to do is heat it through and thicken the gravy a little. Always turns out tasty and very tender.

No recipe to speak of......just stew beef, carrots, onions, potatoes, celery, beef stock (I usually make my own from roasted beef bones), and a teaspoon of Montana Steak Seasoning.

Yeah, I've been making plenty of stews. Good idea on the Montana Steak seasoning.

What I was referring to was potted meats, like making spreads for crackers or bread.

I've been making all sorts of flavors, like teriyaki, black pepper, Cajun style, etc. I pack them in the small jam 4oz jars. Then I can get some crackers and scoop out what I want and eat it. Good for one sitting/meal or snack for some.

Ours are pretty simple, meat and some BBQ sauce or sweet and sour or teriyaki. I never liked potted meat but then we never had homemade.

I haven’t done Any meat canning yet but I think the time has definitely come. We have a pressure cooker and plenty of canning jars from canning our grown veggies so, this year will be the year we give it a try. I have one recipe that was my mothers, she used to can venison when we were kids.
