Portland protesters early Wednesday began to set up tents in the park across the street from a federal courthouse and have barricaded streets in an attempt to create their own autonomous zone liken to the since disbanded Capitol Hill Occupied Protest in Seattle.

I've never been a fan of "dispersing" a rowdy crowd.

That just relocates them to another time or place.

Better to start arresting the ones causing the trouble.

If you lock up the 5% that are doing all the damage, the other 95% won't do anything next time.

If you "disperse" the crowd, get ready to do it all again tomorrow.

And when I say "lock them up" I'm not talking about overnight.

I wish I could like this 1,000 times. People on the right are literally being shot for exercising their first amendment right. Most people are unaware of this because the press coverage is completely biased. Yet let some left wing asshole get pushed down and the press makes him out to be a hero. There is an intelligence and PR war going on and our side is losing badly.
