Just so people are aware, it's much worse than just a line on the map. Based on the balloons altitude it was probably able to absorb and vacuum up all the Intel hundreds of miles north and south of that line on a map. It likely covered a huge swath of land.

There were a lot of people saying that from the start. It's like sitting in a tree stand versus a ground blind. Even just 10 feet up, you can see a lot more and further than from ground level.






I still don't get why it wasn't removed from the sky as soon as where it came from was known. If we flew a balloon over China, they would send a kiloton nuke to take it out.
