Sold from manufacturer as Pistol and marked as such. This is currently on my permit. No need to try to convince the clerk to put your 5.56 "receiver" on your permit.
This lower allows the magazine to drop half way down to allow you to clear a double feed. They are only made in small batches in California. Normal fixed magazine AR lowers are paper weights if you experience a double feed.
Low round count. Small cosmetic blemish near buffer spring. Does not affect fit. See photos for condition. I'm working on moving to Pennsylvania where I won't need this. If I was staying in New York, in my opinion, this is the only viable option.
