CNN is the 70's "National Inquirer" of Television News, they desperately need traumatic, sensationalized, even fictitious "news" to attract and hold viewers...before the disembowelment of USAID, outlets such as CNN, MSNBC, NPR, et.al. could depend on shady supplements to their coffers, but now they're relegated back to Advertisers who want product exposure to as many as possible irrespective the message or truthfulness of it.
