Co-ownership of firearms with person not living in NY?

My sister lives in a constitutional carry state. Is it possible to file paperwork that makes her legal co-owner of my handguns and long guns? Idea being she could take possession in the event of my death. If so, how do I go about doing this?

Only one that can accurately answer is the office that issues you and her permits.

My county requires you to live in same household.
Other NY counties don't.
Yours is even more different.

Yes, my will is set up as such. My lawyer is pro 2A. We also have a plan B, such that everything goes to a FFL to hold and not the gubbermint thieves.

My 2A attorney is from Buffalo. You'll have to find someone in your area.

Basically unofficial instructions to my heir are to get it all out of state before my body cools and then have the will executed. In my will it was declared that everything is currently "co-purchased" and "co-owed" with my heir, therefore the heir technically currently "owns" those firearms.

In the event my heir can not legally take charge of the firearms I have plan "C" which is a poison pill. All firearms go to a local FFL, get sold and proceeds go to SCOPE to continue the lawsuit against the Snake Act. My lawyers said there was nothing wrong with my will and it could be executed as we discussed it.

No way will any gubbermint tool touch my firearms ever in NY.

Ny state has no jurisdiction over other states. So as soon as she takes posession and transports them legally there is nothing NYS can do to stop her. Specially because they will not.know.
Same thing if a ny resident has a 2nd home in la free state. What he has in his 2nd residence is not subject to the laws of nys.

Leave them to her in your will.

By law, the executor or administrator of your estate has 15 days to either lawfully dispose of the firearms or surrender them to the police. They can be sent via FFL to your sister in another state. This leaves a paper trail for your estate.

This is, of course, assuming that all of your firearms are legal. If not, that's a whole other discussion for another forum.
