My hanks is still holding up. No issues with full size 1911 or Glock 30.
Mine gets delivered today. I’ll give a report in a couple days.video from last year ..
After wearing the We The People Tactical belt I will say it’s very comfortable for every day wearing. It’s real stiff for gun support. I will say it’s different then a normal belt to put on but I’ll get used to itMine gets delivered today. I’ll give a report in a couple days.
I got mine on a 25% off deal the other night and it came out to like $65 shipped
My blue alpha EDC came today. Seems pretty decent. I'm a little nervous about the plastic buckle but I'm sure it's an ok design or people would be complaining about it if it frequently breaks.
I just have to figure out the best way to wear it and position it and which way I want the buckle and the fold back part to go.
I've been using that plastic buckle for like 2 or 3 years now
How do you wear it?
Where do you put the buckle and folded Velcro flap
I offset the buckle over one belt loop on my right side.. so the bucket is above my front pocket
For appendix?
Good info here. I've been looking into a belt with the ratcheting system, as I'd like to dip my toes into AIWB carry. Kore and Nexbelt in particular. I'd like to side load the belt, in other words place the buckle to the 9 o'clock position for this. And don't want anything to do with velcro.I've been working on a long-term test to compare belts, but I've been using the Nexbelt EDC Supreme Appendix for months and love it - Men's Belt, Nexbelt EDC Supreme Appendix Black 38mm Nylon Gun Utility Harness Ratchet Belt for Concealed Carry : Sports & Outdoors
I will warn you, it's Made in China (but so is my Holosun).. (if anyone has experience with a Made-in-USA version that competes let me know.)
I've been comparing it to a KORE Essentials belt - the KORE has a much bigger buckle, and it seems slightly stiffer, though for IWB or Appendix carry of a smaller gun (P365XL is my go-to), the Nexbelt is perfect. KORE might be better for OWB, needs more testing on my part as I really only OWB at the range or during winter.
I’ve exclusively used my Kore Essentials belt everyday for the almost the last three years and never had an issue. I’d bet anyone with the failures most likely didn’t install the buckle correctly to begin with. It’s been rock solid and a great belt.Good info here. I watched a video of someone complaining the Nextbelt buckle failed on him. They quickly sent a replacement, but that one failed too. He suggested the Kore Essentials was the better option. I think John Lovell (Warrior Poet Society) recommends the Kore Essentials as well. I brought this up today at the LGS, and the employee told me he had the buckle of a Kore belt fail on him.
Has your opinion changed, or are you still perfering the Nexbelt?
I've been using the Nexbelt almost daily for CCW - still love it. The smaller buckle is great for AIWB, and I think it would work well with a side load. I've used the KORE belt rarely, though did use it last month at an Onsight Firearms class since I was carrying OWB along with mag holders, IFAK etc.. the extra stiffness helped.Good info here. This belt is losing its stiffness after almost 2 years. I will be looking for other options.GrooveLife EDC belt here. I love the magnetic clasp, the stiffness, the stretch, and the style. Holds my 92X just fine.

I'm still hemming and hawing over which belt to get. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the Nexbelt buckle looks to be REALLY thick as compared to the Kore X5. Although I couldn't find an image with the perfect angle for the Kore with which to judge thickness.I've been using the Nexbelt almost daily for CCW - still love it. Sure thing, here are some pictures, with a cat for scale -I'm still hemming and hawing over which belt to get. I would think the thinner profile would be best. Since you have both belts, could you possibly provide images or measurements of buckle thickness?
Thanks for putting up with my questions/comments.
Regular kitchen scissors, but they're sharp. Probably dulled a little after using on the belts - had to trim a little more to get an 'even' slice.I ended up ordering the Nexbelt Supreme Appendix. Damn this thing is stiff! A video on the Nexbelt website states to use a scissors to cut the belt to size. I think I might need a chainsaw to cut this thing! What did you use to cut the belt?
I went with the Kore Tactical X5 and X7. Holds up to 8 pounds of gear. Perfect for me.This belt is losing its stiffness after almost 2 years. I will be looking for other options.
