That's because you had an old man. Seriously, with so many boys being raised in fatherless homes they haven't the role models of what a good man and father is. Now, I do not mean those father's who have died or gone off for military service. Even then a boy can be proud of his father. I am talking about those men who have abdicated their role as fathers and husbands in their families in search of something easy and with less responsibility. So these boys and young men see these sh!tbag "dads" once a week or maybe once a month, they learn that people cannot be depended on, women and families are disposable, and that life generally sucks.
