Of course the people that don't interact with or actually teach the kids will get the 30% raises while the teachers get the minimal amount.

They don't deserve that big a raise even if they are doing a good job.

Personally I don't think anyone that gets a tax payer funded salary should get a raise if they are working or have worked from home. Those that still had to go to work were spending money on gas and putting miles on their vehicles while those at home saved money and mileage while still getting their full salary.

No. I'm talking about all the state employees that got to work from home for almost a year and now some of them are still working from home a couple days a week to keep people separated. All the teachers that worked from home too. They had no travel expenses. They shouldn't get a tax payer funded raise on top of saving money by working from home. A lot of teachers didn't do shit to teach their kids. My brother in law works for the state. He said they just had to move the mouse once in a while to look busy. I'm not saying everyone slacked off while at home but we know some did

That’s actually their claim that they raised the graduation rate by 30% or thereabouts. It’s nothing they did. You should see who the schools passed last year. Some kids did two-three assignments and passed.

They are NOT doing a good job, that is for sure. How much they rob from our seniors to pay each student a year. The highest in Erie County. North Collins sadly is not far behind them. NC is a school that should be closed and consolidated w/ Eden and Lakeshore.

I do understand where they are coming from. I live in a small school district that I think is the lowest(or one of) paid in Erie county. We have a revolving door and we lose good people to higher paying districts on the regular. Now what needs to be evaluated in Buffalo city school district is this why? I do not think it’s the reason why people are leaving, but I could be wrong. I know this is why many leave my district, but Buffalo is a disaster. My disclaimer is I’ve spoken to many teachers about this and not necessarily administrators so it could be different.
