Could Obama's last act as president be pardoning Hillary? White House won't rule out last minute clemency that would protect Clinton from Trump

I would love to see an independent prosecutor appointed to investigate the emails, perjury, pay to play, the foundation and every other shady thing Illary has been involved in - pardon or no pardon.

When all the facts come to light, all of Bill and Hillary and Obama's hopes for a positive legacy will go down the toilet, and they'll all be known as the criminals they are. And the ill-gotten assets of the Clinton Crime Family Foundation can be seized. At least for now, you can't pardon a corporation.

Not true. Ford pardoned Nixon before he was tried or convicted.

Nixon was in office .. Hitlery isn't .. there is nothing to pardon her from ... she has to be tried and convicted first i do believe .. she is just a normal person .. nothing special except the damn Teflon coating ..

Nixon wasn't in office. Ford was the president. Nixon wasn't tried or convicted of anything.

As I said in the other thread, it could be good for her to be pardoned. At this point, she is irrelevant. He got the victory and got to publicly declare her a crook. Now, he has more important things to focus on, which does include bringing the country closer together, not furthering the divide. His policies will be seen as divisive enough. A pardon lets him save face without having to actually go after her.
