For the midterm election day we have a pretty good idea what the overall media approach will be [See Here]. Knowing the gaslighting will likely be even worse than 2016, it becomes more important to tune out the media’s narrative and stick to substance. That’s where the value of YOUR ground reports come in.
Based on scale, CTH has readers in every state, every city, and likely almost every precinct in the country.
So, YOU are now the media.
We will present ground report threads for you to share your insight and voting experience in your community on this midterm election. Past experience tells us the best approach is to use a noon thread (12pm – 3pm ET / 9am – 12pm PT); and a mid-day thread (3pm – 6pm ET / 12pm – 3pm PT), for you to share individual ground reports. From these reports we can get a good picture of what’s going on coast-to-coast.
Then starting at 7:00pm ET we will begin reviewing election results in two hour increments. NOTE: I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to ignore “exit polling” pushed by media. Exit polling is a complete con, used to fabricate and shape talking points for media pundits. Ignore exit polling, especially in the mid-west and west coast. As we saw in 2016, exit polling is disconnected from actual voting results.

Here in the Adirondacks of Upstate NY. Voted at 6:30AM and had to wait to find a parking space. Never happened before. I guess folks are energized!

It was crowed at my polling place at around 6:15. I then passed 3 more places driving into work and the all seemed dead.

Quiet at my polling place. One person leaving as I was coming in and other person coming in as I was leaving. But I'm in a little town with a population that's just over 3,000 so I don't think you can say much about that. I know my parents are sleeping in and will go in later today. Because of my work schedule it was morning or bust for me. And believe me, I made sure my ass was up in time to get to the polls AND work on time.

A narrow majority in the house is not the blue wave the Democrats promised. Reagan had a Democratic house for 6 years of his presidency by a larger margin (and a Democratic Senate the last two).
They may well lose be losing ground in the Senate.

It’s a double whammy. The Senate would ordinarily pass its own version of the bill, then send it to committee to work out the differences. They would then re-pass the bill. Or they could just pass the House version.
But either way requires a filibuster-proof Senate vote (61) which isn’t likely.

This isn’t an actual poll just so u guys know. It says, “most searches” but that could mean he’s a high favored candidate. We’ll see.

I've seen a Larry Sharpe lawn sign. I'd expect this to be spin to push conservative voters in a direction to fragment the vote and boost FUAC, who has no fragmentation in his base (thanks to Nixon punking out and not running in anything other than the Dem primary).

Except that will probably get them turned away. You are not supposed to wear any political attire at polling places. I REALLY hope this oversight doesn't fuck us out of the votes we need!! It's nice that people are excited but getting turned away because of this is just stupid. Wear normal clothing to the polls. It's supposed to be secret ballot anyway.

- Updaye on Chris Collins (NY 27)…his opponent just asked a judge to impound all ballots!!! The judge denied the request! The opponent’s reasoning is that Collins is a “crook”, and the vote can’t be trusted. National dems involved?

At 3:30 this afternoon I waited in line at the poling place. The town I live in has a pop. of 3400. Never have seen it that busy.

I don’t recall my number but for my polling place in Mamakating was busy when my wife went on her lunch she said it was packed. I went about 3:30 and there was a line like 2 years ago
