Now let's think about that for a second, Women's soccer averages 14,000 (over the whole league) patrons per game. Men's soccer averages 21,000 (over the whole league) per game. So, even though the owner of women's team has 7,000 less paying attendees, they are now mandated to pay the same wages as the men's teams. Who loses out in that deal? Are the owners of the women's teams supposed to eat the difference and make less money ? And since when did the Emperor have any say in a private enterprise?

Cuomo signed the legislation around the same time de Blasio appeared on CNN outside City Hall to say he would sign an executive order to guarantee equal pay for women and men athletes.
Moving on to Dumbo DeBlasio,
The mayor, a Democratic presidential candidate, said he would insist that Congress pass an amendment to the Amateur Sports Act “requiring equal pay for men and women in all of our national sports teams.”
Last that I knew, all of our National sports teams are amateurs. They are not Professionals. He specifically cites the "Amateur Sports Act". If they get paid , they are no longer amateurs and are not eligible for our national teams. The stupid is strong with these politicians.
Personally, if there ever is a middle linebacker in the NFL that is a woman, I don't want to see her get paid the same, I want to see her get paid a LOT more. I'll hold my breath as of now.
