CZ P-07(1,000) pieces

So I'm (im)patiently waiting for my slide to get back from Fire 4 Effect. They are milling it for a RMR RM07, new back up iron sights, and cerakote.

Well with that I'm getting bored and decided, hmmm why not completely strip the lower and maybe start polishing all the guts to get it smoothed up and better trigger. Well taking it down wasn't so bad but damn a lot different than my Glocks. Needless to say I didn't get to the polishing might do that today or next week. But it was good practice for when I save up some cash and order the Cajun gun works pro package and install it myself (because that 6-10 week turn around would kill me)

I'm pretty sure the "Pro Package" is In Shop Only ! There are different levels I think and there is a package that does "everything" but polish the internals and that one they will send ya ! I'm on a "List" to send in both my CZs for Pro Paks !! Its gonna be awesome. Long wait but I have other things to shoot so that will make it that much better when I get them back !!!!!

You are correct I was looking at that one as I was typing, I'm probably going to just have the goods sent to me since I hate waiting

True,that is the only difference so if you take your time and polish everything they would do anyways ya can save that $$$. Good ideal ! If you go over to the CZ Forum they have tutorials and pic's and all kinds of cool stuff. Check it out !

That's where I got the confidence on doing it myself.
Original plan was to send it to CGW but after seeing they have the step by step pinned I figured why not save money and time

CGW really knows how to rock a CZ. My CZ75, SP01, Shadow went through them. It is my favorite, and most enjoyable handgun without a doubt.

Yea I am going to find out for sure ! I am on the "List" to send my guns in, probably the end of July David said ! I'm on the fence also, I want a Shadow 2 and have the $$$ saved up but considering my SP-01 is going to be very close to one I can't decide,,LOL Wow what a tough decision to have to make hey guys,,LOL The trigger and internals will be like the Shadow I'm sure but the Shadow weighs another 5+ ounces has the deeper and higher undercut and the deeper beavertail, I bet its friggn soooo sweet to shoot ya won't even be able to stand it, but I'll try,,LOL I'll think about it over the weekend. I have been watching a bunch on Gunbroker for 2 weeks ! Time will tell ! I'll keep ya posted for sure.

Well it looks like I have until Friday to get my blaster polished and back together, slide is all done and being shipped

Interested to see how you like it when it arrives. Been shopping around to see who I will pick to do the milling when the time comes.

I just picked up a P-07 in .40 and a Trijicon RM06 for this very thing as well.

Well so far absolutely love the customer service. They sent me a text when they got all my stuff. And exactly 14 days later sent me a text with that picture saying it was done and picked up by FedEx. Should be here on Friday.
There seemed to be only a couple of places that do these, most of which won't true cowitness I guess, only down side is these guys make you pay for a full cerekote vs oh we will just fill in the machined spots for "free" but I'm not complaining now and at this point already recommend them, will post more pictures when I get it and then again after running it

Well got my p07 all back together, did some light polishing, nothing crazy.

My slide arrived to the fedex facility yesterday (thursday) not scheduled to be delivered until sometime today (Friday), tried to call and see if I could just go pick it up yesterday and they said can't pick it up until after one failed delivery, good thing I work 3rd shift and can be home all day since it needs a signature

Quick question, I was considering getting one of these and was wondering how often you carry it during the hot summer days? Does it ever get surface rust on the slide or other steel parts? I do 20 mile hikes and don't carry any guns anymore that have much of a potential to rust just while carrying around anymore.

Getting a CZ P-07? I carry it all the time, since I switched out the Glock, and I always wear an undershirt between myself and gun. Both on the Glock and the CZ the finish has held up no issues

My edc is a P07, no problem with rust
