I hate the term hate crime. Isn't every crime provoked by hate to some degree or another? Even if not it's the action itself that is deserving of punishment not the "thought" around it. I find it very disturbing that we're prosecuting people by what they supposedly held in their hearts and not their actions. Ad on the fact that people are making this up to get attention and (most likely) money is infuriating.
Everyone who claims a bias crime whether it be racial, religious, or otherwise needs to be fined and/or imprisoned if it turns out to be false. Only then will this crap stop.
I'll also add on that the false rape allegations need to be prosecuted too. Sadly rapes do happen but, sorry feminazis, there isn't rape culture out there among heterosexual men like you claim there is (unless you travel to the Middle East but I won't go there in this post). Far too many news reports of young men's lives being ruined because some chick regretted sleeping with a guy the night before.
