BREAKING: Democrat Senator Adam Schiff Under Federal Investigation for Mortgage Fraud​

Fox News’ Laura Ingraham on Tuesday evening exclusively reported that the US Attorney’s Office in Maryland is investigating Schiff for possible charges involving mortgage fraud.

In 2000 Schiff was elected to Congress and has served as a US House member from the state of California ever since. Schiff reportedly purchased a home in Maryland with his wife in 2003 stating they would occupy this home for 12 consecutive months as their “primary residence”. Despite this claim, Schiff continued to vote in California.
Schiff refinanced his home in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2013 claiming the Maryland home was his primary residence. In 2009, a House Ethics investigation claimed that Schiff did this and Schiff claimed it was an error and he repaid the exempt taxes to the state of Maryland.

President Trump attached a screenshot of a signed and notarized affidavit that Schiff signed proclaiming the mortgaged property in Maryland is his “principal residence.”
Adam Schiff also has a condominium in Los Angeles, California, that he claims is his “primary residence.”

The real issue isn't mortgage fraud; it's RESIDENCY requirements to be a member of the US House.

Technically, Adam, under penalty of perjury, gave a written deposition on the mortgage form that he would live in Maryland twelve consecutive months, during which time he was serving as the representative of California in the US House... This alone DISQUALIFIED him from being a California representative.

The dems never look back at their "questionable", zealous, previous actions and how they got into the legal problems they have today. They automatically start to scream; racism, illegal, authoritarian, nazi, fascist, weaponized, retaliation as soon as the allegations break.
It Schiff's case, his sole mission was/is to destroy Trump by any means. Now as scripted he's complaining about the tables being turned. Donald Trump is not to be trifled with. Especially because he is the most powerful man on the planet and has a very long memory (unlike Biden). Schifforbrains, Jumbo James, Barry and his cast of DOJ felons, the Clinton crime family, the stock market Svengali Pelosis, are all on notice.
I just hope that this time their can be indictments, fair trials and proper punishments. After all, "No one is above the law".

I think all that these Federal investigations that go nowhere are accomplishing is emboldening the Democrat criminals. I figure Letitia James would agree.

I don't want to be the one who drops a turd in the punch bowl. But I have seen enough not to get any hopes up that a Democrat politician, especially a high-ranking one, will ever be held responsible for their criminal actions.

I just have to ask with these idiots continuing to do this how much money would this actually save them? I thought the wealthy should pay their fair share of taxes. I also want to know how or why you would refinance four times in 5 years. I have refinanced once and it costs a couple thousand dollars so he spent more refinancing than he would gain. This seems odd to me.

Maybe in the long run it pays, but also probably so little that this sort of thing has flown under the radar. Probably pretty common.

But dems decided to go the lawfare route and this is low hanging fruit. I mean, Schiff and James both for mortgage fraud? And this goes back years, it shouldn't have been hard to find, but now they're looking. I won't be surprised to see more.

And yeah, dems always crying about everybody paying their fair share while they cheat. What would be fair is a flat tax, maybe with one lower bracket for the lowest income level. But definitely get rid of the write-offs.

No one should get to write-off a lavash meal just because they talked business for 10 minutes of it. We all have to eat, either no one gets to write that off or we all do.

Agreed a flat tax or sales tax is a great idea. I don’t think the government should care where your money comes from but what you spend. Think about Jeff Bezos buying his huge catch and what that costs. Someone like that shouldn’t get all the write offs they do. I’m sure he paid sales tax but wrote it all off as a business expense. All I know is I’ll make about $200,000 this year between us and I’ll lose claiming my kids college while jerks like bezos make billions and write off everything they own.
