Democrats Created A Child Trafficking Nightmare
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has released a damning report detailing how Democrats effectively “lost” almost a quarter million unaccompanied illegal alien children and that over 70,000 accompanied alien children (UACs) had effectively disappeared without proper legal oversight leaving them vulnerable to exploitation.
The Federal Law Enforcement Subcommittee held a hearing on “Catch and Release, Lose and Forget: Addressing the Crisis of Unaccompanied Alien Children – Part I” that documented how Democrats effectively funneled almost a quarter million children into a child trafficking nightmare.
- According to the Inspector General’s report, 31,000 children were released to sponsor addresses that were blank, undeliverable, or incomplete, while more than 43,000 failed to appear for court hearings and are now effectively missing from federal monitoring.
- There was a case in Orlando, Florida, where 22 children at one time or another were placed with a strip club.
