My thoughts exactly. Not specific to NYC but it has been a hotbed for those leaving liberal areas. I’m sure Miami wasn’t strongly Republican anyway but I guess being Republican for the last 30 years is significant.

If this is the trend I hope republicans wake up to keep control. I will say I’m sure the media and everyone will make it look like it’s a great big blue wave but show me in history where a party has kept total control of all three chambers for an entire presidential term. It doesn’t happen so this isn’t a shock.
