Dershowitz didn't go far enough. President can only be impeached for "high crimes and misdemeanors". That's the Constitutional standard. Trump was 100% legal.

Toobin's reply to Dershowitz was intellectually dishonest. He was rebutting assertion Dershowitz didn't make.

He did also say that the president can order the FBI to drop an investigation, and provided examples of several times it was done by other presidents. Basically for a president to obstruct justice, he needs to destroy evidence, or lie under oath, or something like that. Merely discontinuing an investigation is well within his power.
