yep ..

i'd use a bunch of black iron pipe and 90 degree elbows and make a coil that way .. will do the same thing and last a lot longer too ..

Not a good choice. It would have to be replaced in a couple of years. Stainless is the way to go.
Pipe or tube.

I was thinking put the coils in a box or tub of water and have the fire directly below.
