Let me tell ya something folks, the pistol permit lady for the sheriffs office has a really shitty attitude for no reason, that’s my complaint.
Since I’m in the military and I was trained on the pistols and carried one on mission I don’t have to do the pistol safety course. I had my NCOIC of the pistol course write a letter stating I completed monthly training and qualification on the M9. He never signed so she said “I’m not going to accept it, you’re going to have to get his signature” I said, “okay that’s fine, I can bring it to you signed within an hour, is that okay?” And she said, “no, you’re going to have to mail it, you had your time so now you’re just gonna slow the process down for yourself” (in a very snotty way) I said, “can he digitally sign it?” And she tried telling me no and I know for a fact that it’s a military document and if it’s digitally signed it is a valid, legal document. So I ended up googling it and legally I was correct, in 2000 the government signed the ESIGN bill stating that electronic signatures hold the same power as ball point ink signatures and they’re legally binding. There was more said with her than I am writing and I ended up calling my Parole friend and he said, she’s his cousin and he gets a lot of complaints about her lol. But anyways, I guess I’ll have a pistol permit soon and I’m pretty excited! I should have great reasoning for an unrestricted as well so hopefully that works in my favor! Pretty excited.
