How many year, or perhaps what percentage of their sentence have caught and convicted career politicians served? Think Melendez will do all 11 years? How about ol' Shelly Silver? Even Blagojevich got out early.

I think public hangings are appropriate but have no problems with prison. Ideally they get treated worse than child molesters in prison.

Just expose their crimes then extradite then to shithole-a-stan or whoever they screwed over the most.

I wonder how this works and I’ll wait to get more information. I know of a department or two that just reorganized federally and they changed the names of all the departments. Yes, I know this is costly and stupid but they did it. I’ll bet the other names that are no longer valid are still on the books and I wonder if that’s why. I guess I wouldn’t be surprised either way but if it’s what peoples initial reactions are then some people better get rounded up and arrested.

I don't know if they will get arrested but they probably will get fired. That's the beauty of it. If they had simply acted the same way there wasn't much trump could do. But if they actually made proactive attempts to circumvent his executive order they are guilty of insubordination and can be disciplined. At the very least they could be suspended. They have provided the rope that will be used to hang them (metaphorically only - I wish it was literally).
