EDC clothing and accessories

I know the title of this thread is a bit odd. However, I am new to the clothing side of things. Curious what tactical/tacticool gear you guys are using on a daily basis...

I had bought some nice surplus stuff a while back, but the wife made me toss it when we moved last year. I still have some basic survival items but nothing that I think I could put on and be ready to rock, other than some jeans and sneakers and a dark shirt. Those fine for daily use, but I'm curious if you guys have changed up anything (on a daily basis) to be more prepared or whatever...

I tend to stick with earth tone colors. For a while I was wearing more of the "tactical" stuff, but had a conversation with a few folks and understood some of the risks associated with the "shoot me first" sort of clothing.

Jeans, tshirt, boots and maybe an occasional cowboy hat and shirt, im just your typical redneck cowboy wannabe.

I do all I can to stay Gray. I do not dress to impress. I like not to be seen. While I do own what some may consider tactical clothing, I see them as normal looking pants. If you stick out because of your dress, you make yourself a target.

I like 5.11 clothes. I have a few pairs of there Stryke pants. I really like these pants and they are on sale.

As far as shirts I normally wear black Tee's or black button downs but lately I been buying plaids. I hate plaids but they really break up the printing of your pistol

The are and they are not comfortable at first. But after they break in they are. If you get a pair they run big. They will last a long time and can be re-soled. I have a bad ankle from football (old school astro turf at that carrier dome ruined it) so I don't like to wear shoes. You can dress there boots up and still have ankle support. The iron rangers are what I wear most to the office.

Thanks for the info. I am all for spending good change on good footware but boots are something I need to get used to. I just recently took a WFH job, so my Allen Edmund collection is sitting gathering dust. Now I need to work on my boot game.

I love gear as much as the guy, but im typically a jeans guy, and only occassionally the some cargos. I have 5.11, vertex, truspec, etc... i like my progun t shirts, too, but i am often wearing short/long sleeve button down shirts. I also like my Keen boots/hiking shoes. I really like they gray man concept, but that does not mean you have to look like a soft target.

I work in nyc, and if the shtf and i had to walk home im already a target as a 6', athletic, middle aged, white dude. So, im going to dress how i like.

I'm a jeans guy, unless work dictates, ever since back in high school I wore cheap slacks for a while, caught the edge of a screw on my leg and had to patch the hole with a patch of duct tape the size of a regulation basketball for the rest of the day.

Oh the hilarity that ensued.

I work from from home 3 days a week. It actually gets boring!

Winter..... Thermal shirts, hoodie, blue jeans, and Glock 26.

SHTF....... I'll dress like Dexter. I'll look normal and not like an idiot wearing camo giving away my level of preparedness all while still wearing colors that blend in the woods.
