Evans Rod & Gun Club Centerfire Shoot

Afternoon all. I've been asked to step up and sort of take over / publicize this event starting this season. We've had this event for some time already but only in it's 250 yard target variant. We've decided to open it up with a 100 yard option so that it may appeal to a wider range of participants.

This event runs from May until September / October. We shoot rain or shine. It's held the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month. That being said, the first of this season will be Monday May 1st.

For the uninitiated, this is pretty much a run what you brung event. The only real restriction is that it's centerfire only. The flier will provide description of any "rules" we've established. We want to incorporate prizes, banquets, etc. but participant turnout will really drive that concept so the more we have, the better the chances.

As with all out events, you DO NOT have to be a member. Feel free to bring a friend (or two) if you like. Don't worry if you can't make it right at 4:30, you'll just jump on the next available relay.

I thought Long-Range Precision Shooting was predominant in the Western part of the State?
Never really participated in Matches as they're a good three hours away.

just asking because some gun clubs have a life time membership .. if you drop a big wad of cash like for hunting licenses ..

so you don't have to remember to pay each year .. lol

I know we've "awarded" them over the years for certain dedicated members but the concept of a "prepaid" membership never came up, at least to my knowledge.
