It won't change people's opinions. Those who get their "news" from CNN/ABC/etc. are already saying that Trump is going to shut down the government as part of his plan to destroy it and become a dictator. They refuse to admit that it is the Democrats (this time) that are going to end up shutting things down.

The problem is many people think health care and keeping it as is or cheap is worth fighting for. This will keep the republicans cut to that in place. I get both sides but at some point people have to do more for themselves and not less. You can’t simply have your handout to the government day after day and year after year. I get there are circumstances where some of this is unavoidable but most people are just too lazy to work.
I know people who truly need help though and they should be able to get it if that’s the case. I’m not saying the republicans are taking that away but that’s what the democrats are stating they are doing and some believe it.
On track I do hope the government shutdown and I hope it goes on for months. I hope the truth comes out as to why this is important and the democrats come out smelling like the pig crap they are.
